Our key partner, the SSAT will be holding their annual Special Education Conference on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd July 2015 at the NCTL Learning and Conference Centre, Triumph Road, Nottingham, NG8 1DH.
The two-day Special Education conference for all headteachers and senior leaders of both special and mainstream schools is the popular focal point for the SSAT’s ongoing commitment to the sector. It provides attendees with a blend of practical guidance, latest policy and strategic thinking, and shared experiences. Under the theme ‘Shifting from Aspiration into Learner Achievement’ this year’s conference will focus on building confidence in planning and delivering specialised learning opportunities (through skills and knowledge sharing in workshops) and exploring ways to evidence the progress made.
The conference is a dynamic blend of presentations, workshops, panels and networking. With the majority of delegates staying overnight at the Centre, there is plenty of opportunity to share experiences and build new relationships.
Sue Morris-King – National Lead for Behaviour and attendance
The Real David Cameron – Presenter and trainer
