nasen Awards 2019

18th, October

Axcis are thrilled to sponsor this prestigious black-tie awards ceremony which is organised and run by our friends at nasen. This year, this notable event will be run on Friday 18th October at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel.

The nasen awards seek to recognise and share the best practice which, ultimately, really benefits children and young people with special and additional educational needs and disabilities (SEND). To have this impact, there are some common features of practice which the judges would expect to see evidenced across the categories. These features are:

  • inclusive leadership and governance which would be visible at every tier in an organisation
  • a collaborative approach to working
  • productive engagement with the full community of the organisation
  • innovation
  • a commitment to sharing effective practice beyond own organisation

Importantly, for every award there is an expectation that the work being recognised has improved outcomes for children or young people with SEND and that individual or organisation has gone above and beyond expected practice.

Those shortlisted to win an award will be invited to the black-tie ceremony which will include dinner and drinks.

Why does Axcis sponsor the nasen Awards?

As leaders in SEND recruitment, and as long-term supporters and sponsors of nasen and the wonderful work they do, Axcis are thrilled to be involved in recognising and celebrating excellent practice in the sector. That’s why we are proud to sponsor the nasen Awards 2019. Representatives from Axcis will  be on hand throughout the evening to discuss any SEND recruitment questions you might have, and we will also be presenting an Axcis sponsored award (and very excited about it we are, too!)

Nominations are now closed and all those shortlisted will be notified w/c 16th September.
