As long-standing, proud corporate partners of the National Autistic Society, Axcis is pleased to support and exhibit at the NAS Understanding and Supporting Challenging Behaviour Conference taking place at the Hilton Hotel Reading on Thursday the 25th of June 2015.
Responding effectively to behaviour that can be challenging remains a big concern for professionals. It is important for early intervention and planning to ensure that situations don’t escalate to a point where physical intervention seems to be the only option.
This conference is a must for all professionals working with autism.
Who should attend?
Along with remarkable keynote presentations discussing holistic approaches to supporting people with autism and positive behaviour support approaches, the conference will feature three streams of interactive seminars: adult services, family support and schools. The seminars will focus on key issues such as physical restraint, challenging behaviour in schools, using play-based approaches, sleeping difficulties, and toileting difficulties and the impact on behaviour.
This event is a great opportunity to hear and network with acknowledged experts in the field and to gain a wealth of knowledge, engage in debate and exchange new ideas.
Axcis representative Helena looks forward to meeting you at the conference.
