On Monday 30th September, Axcis are thrilled to be officially opening a Devon & Cornwall office. Find out more about us and how we can help with your special educational needs and disabilities staffing here, as well as a bit more about the official launch event.
Axcis is the leading supplier of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) staff in England and Wales. We recruit special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) staff for mainstream schools and alternative provisions across England and Wales and offer recruitment solutions for short-term, long-term and permanent vacancies. Working with the broadest range of positions, our candidates include teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and school leaders.
Established in 2001, our head office is in London’s West End. We have since grown in-line with increasing demand from schools for the quality, specialist service we are able to provide. We have offices across the UK and continue to expand as more schools hear about us and express a desire to make use of our unique service. Many of our experienced team of consultants are ex-teachers or members of school support staff, so have on-the-ground knowledge of the sector. As a result, we are able to provide a recruitment package which reflects this in-depth understanding of what schools are looking for in the staff they recruit.
On Monday the 30th September, our Devon & Cornwall office will be officially opened by Professor Adam Boddison, Chief Executive Officer of nasen (the National Association for Special Educational Needs). However, it should be noted that the branch is already up and running and ready to help with your recruitment needs, so if you work in a school or alternative provision in Devon or Cornwall and need help with your staffing needs, you can get in touch at any time. Other schools and candidates are already making use of our service and saying great things. For example:
As an SEN SLT looking for interim work, I came across Axcis Education just after they opened in Devon. To learn that specialise solely within the SEND sector was reassuring as my previous experience of using recruitment agencies highlighted a need for dedicated, flexible and experienced SEND staff across the South West. With a dedicated SEND recruiter now covering Devon, I feel confident that when we next need flexible or specialist recruitment support, Axcis Education have the expertise to provide vital recruitment support. The official launch event for Axcis Devon & Cornwall will take place from 5.30pm until 7pm on Monday 30th September. There will be some soft drinks and snacks provided as well as a talk from our special guest Professor Adam Boddison. It’s a great opportunity for headteachers and SENCOs to come along and meet the Axcis team there, as well as to discuss any potential staffing support they may need. Please note that places at this event are very limited and open only to school leaders in the Devon & Cornwall area. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place today.
