Axcis are proud to sponsor the National Autistic Society and as part of this, we are supporting World Autism Awareness Week, which is running from the 1st until the 7th April 2019.

What is autism?

As stated on the NAS Website, Autism is a lifelong disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. There are approximately 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK. This is why it’s important to help spread awareness of the condition – and World Autism Awareness Week is a great opportunity to do just this!

How can you get involved?

Simply sign up via the NAS Website, and you’ll be sent lots of ideas and resources to use with your students. From activities to raise awareness throughout your school to fundraising suggestions, there is sure to be something for everyone.
