Axcis is continuing to grow as more and more schools hear about us and start using our services. As a result, Axcis Midlands has a new consultant, so if you’re seeking work (or staff) in the Birmingham or Worcester areas, why not get in touch with Vicki? Find out a bit more about her here.
Before joining Axcis, I worked in engineering and industrial recruitment. This experience honed my ability to respond to the needs of my clients quickly, and match only the most appropriately skilled contractors to their (often very specific) requirements. I feel that this practice has given me excellent grounding for a career move into education recruitment.
I joined Axcis because I am passionate about supporting children, and in particular those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I love working with teachers and support staff who care deeply about what they do every day, and are proud to make a difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable children.
I thoroughly enjoy visiting the schools I work with because it provides me with an insight into their needs and what sort of staff fit in there. I find it highly rewarding when a client calls to tell me how well my chosen contractor is getting on and I hope to achieve this with most, if not all of my placements.
In my spare time I enjoy yoga, reading, baking and visiting new places. I very much enjoy setting goals for myself. I recently completed my first obstacle race “the suffering” which was 14k. I also took a trip by myself to Dubai to experience travelling alone.
