How do I book staff with Axcis?
All you need to do is call your local Axcis office and let us know what sort of staff you are looking for, when you need them to start and how many days/hours you will require. Your Axcis consultant will source suitable candidates for you. If you are happy with the staff they have selected you can simply book them for work. Your Axcis consultant will send you all the vetting and compliance information for your peace of mind and will explain how our timesheet system works. Each week, once work has been completed, you simply inform us on a timesheet of how many days/hours they have worked and we will process their pay and charge you accordingly. As with all supply contracts, you are under no obligation to keep staff on if they are not working out (although we are confident they will!)
What do other clients say about their Axcis contractors?
At Axcis, we are so proud of all the positive feedback we receive about our staff that we run a “Candidate of the Term” award 3 times a year. If you’d like to see some of the comments we received, you can view them in full on our blog. Here are just a few:
From the moment Val entered our building her smile radiated out and I knew she would fit in. She quickly became an integral part of the team and helps us problem solve on a regular basis, often well past her due leaving time. She has high professional standards and true empathy for our youngsters, this is a rare and invaluable blend. She has a can do attitude, I often find that she has already done something that I think about asking her to do as she has such a high level of common sense and understanding of the diverse, ever changing, challenges that working on an on-site ASD base brings. All her work is of a high standard and her paperwork up-to-date and in-depth. She does not present as a ‘supply’. Our students are flourishing under her guidance and she is an extremely valued member of staff, we literally couldn’t do without her.
I would like to let you know that Cendrine has been an exceptional addition to our support team. Her enthusiasm, her dedication to promote learning and the welfare of our learners is amazing. She is a true professional and an exceptional role model for any candidate you wish to place in an educational establishment.
I would like to nominate Desmond, a Teaching Assistant who currently supports a student here. We hold high expectations of our staff and students, and Desmond excels supporting that ethos. In a short period, Desmond has made such a positive impact in the support of our student, he has such a positive approach, he is innovative and works fantastically well with our team. It’s as if Desmond has always been here at the academy – he is certainly a credit to your organisation and we thank him for the hard work he does. Desmond currently supports a vulnerable student with complex needs, we have never seen our student so settled, and Desmond has also incorporated his skills as a musician and using his skills to enhance the confidence and self-esteem of the student. He is always at the academy before the appointed time and leaves after his appointed time to ensure all his task are complete. It is an absolute pleasure having Desmond being part of our team.
