Our new mobile-friendly website is going live soon. This means you’ll be able to get the benefit of all the usual features, plus a few more while you are on the go with your tablet or smart phone.

Features and Benefits

Job Searching is now made even easier with our jobs page – Axcis has hundreds of jobs available in the SEND sector. From teaching assistant opportunities in mainstream and special schools, to occupational therapy, leadership roles and teaching positions. You can simply browse through all the jobs we have available, or use the advanced searching function to refine your hunt if you know exactly what you’re looking for. Once you find your dream job, you can apply online. This will notify the consultant immediately of your interest in the position and get you straight into the short list for the school. You will also be emailed updates in real time whenever a new job matching your search criteria is listed on our site – putting our existing candidates right at the top of the priority list.

Candidate Searching for clients is a fantastic feature. Recruiters can register for free on our website, search our candidate database and see profiles for any available candidates who would be suitable for your position. You can then contact your personal consultant for a chat about the role you are recruiting, the candidates you are interested in and whether they will be suitable. We always aim to save you time and hassle, so if we do not feel the candidates you have found will be suitable, we will be honest about this and happy to suggest alternatives or advertise on your behalf completely free of charge to find that perfect person to fill the role. Remember, there is no charge for any of this service until you decide to hire one of our fantastic candidates.

Training and Events are still one of our key priorities for our candidates and clients. We want to be that agency which goes a little bit further than the rest and continue to do this through our candidate CPD seminars, professional partnerships and client events. We are very proud of our partnerships and the opportunities they afford our schools, such as free or discounted tickets to many key SEND events throughout the year. Keep an eye on our events diary to see what we have coming up for you.

News, competitions and updates from our team will continue to be published on our blog. Candidates may be interested in our Tip of the Week, aiming to give you the best advice possible to maximise your success while working on supply. Information about upcoming events will be published, as well as our professional partnerships and competitions. Our latest prize is a Worry Keeper doll – a fantastic teaching and therapeutic tool for those working with SEND children.

Resources to support your practice can also be found on our new website, including links to the 2014 Children and Families Act and Code of Practice.  We also provide practical resources such as downloadable timesheets, tax forms and CV templates for our candidates.

We have worked hard to ensure that our new website fulfils the needs of our candidates, clients and partners, so bookmark us now and come back for a visit anytime!
